How this site is written

Most investing content online assumes an American reader — 401(k)s, Roth IRAs, US-only funds. Almost none of it survives contact with a European broker. This site is written the other way round: Europe first, in euros, with the fund wrappers you can actually buy.

The travel guides work the same way. Costs are what was actually paid, on the date given, rather than a range copied from somewhere else.

How this site pays for itself

Affiliate links. Travel posts contain affiliate links to booking sites, hotels and tours, and some outbound travel links are converted to affiliate links automatically. If you book through one, this site earns a commission at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price you would pay going direct.

Direct sales. The trackers, the budget planner and the book in the Toolkit are sold directly through this site. The planner is free; the rest are one-off purchases with no subscription.
